I consent to AKIRS collecting and processing my personal information — including my name, NIN/BVN, contact details, address, and occupation — for taxpayer registration, identity verification, tax assessment, and compliance with Akwa Ibom State tax laws.

Payment processing via Akwa Remit

I understand that tax payments are processed exclusively through Akwa Remit, the official Akwa Ibom State payment platform. IbomTax does not store or have access to my card details or bank credentials at any point.

Disclosure to regulatory authorities

I understand that my tax data may be shared with relevant government agencies and regulatory bodies — including FIRS and the NDPC — where required by law or for the enforcement of tax obligations.

Use of technology service providers

I consent to AKIRS sharing necessary data with vetted third-party technology vendors that support platform operations, under strict data processing agreements that prohibit independent use of my data.

Tax notices and service communications

I agree to receive tax assessment notices, payment reminders, and platform updates via email and SMS to the contact details I have provided. I may withdraw this consent at any time from my account settings.

Cookies and anonymised analytics

I agree to the use of functional cookies and anonymised usage analytics to improve the IbomTax platform. I understand I can manage this through my browser settings at any time.
